Glanzman Sensitivity Reading offers quality review of manuscripts for stereotypical/harmful content concerning diverse characters. We are accepting manuscripts ranging from children's literature to adult.
(NOTE: If sex scenes are present, they must be in a limited amount and not the central focus of the plot. No Erotica.)

What a sensitivity reader does:
-
Read through the manuscript for any sign of microaggressions/unwitting prejudice such as ableism, transphobia, sexism, etc. in the form of slurs, stereotypes and harmful representation.

Give the author feedback on where these errors take place and suggestions on how to fix them.

Inform the author of current trends involving what marginalized groups want in fictional character portrayals.
What a sensitivity reader does NOT do:

Fix the errors/microaggressions in the manuscript for the author

Proofread or edit the manuscript
